Quit Using Those Boring Checks!
When you open a new checking account you are given an option about the type of check you order. In most cases the options for the Checks themselves are between plain and plainer. When you ask the price difference you are surprised to learn that there really is a difference and you don’t understand why – after all, neither check has a real design to speak of.

But since you have to have them, you choose between the two and tell yourself it really doesn’t matter if your Personal Checks are plain and somewhat ugly. But as time goes on you find that each time you have to write a check you cringe. Not only do you get bad vibes because you are spending money but you are spending via an ugly piece of paper!
The truth is this can have some damaging psychological ramifications. You see, the association between the two is negative which results in a negative experience for you. In essence, your mind will sub-consciously make this association and there will eventually be an unconscious avoidance when it comes to writing on these little ugly pieces of paper.
While this could be a good thing in some cases, i.e., it could result in saving you money because you would not spend any, it is more likely to result in bills being left unpaid. It seems that nowadays most people use credit or debit cards when shopping and write a check for paying bills. Therefore, if a check is not written it usually means that a bill was not paid.
The good news is that there is an easy solution to this dilemma. You can easily Order Checks that are personalized and attractive. This puts you in charge of creating documents that you find pleasing. From simple illustrations to images in vibrant colors and more, your check book can be filled with beautiful documents that you delight in seeing. Wouldn’t it be nice to write a check that has an image of a favorite scene or character on it? The fact is, you can even order Photo Checks that are customized with photos of your choice.
Wouldn’t it be nice to associate paying bills with seeing a photo of your child, or an image of a favorite landscape or other illustration? The negativity that was previously associated with your check book would vanish. It would be replaced with positive feelings of pleasure.
The benefits would impact other areas in a good way as well. For instance, the stress you once felt when you brought out the old check book may have resulted in tension headaches or stress induced eating. The new check book could lead to fewer headaches and weight loss. But a word of caution: the pleasure may be so intense that you begin using your check book more frequently – which could cause other problems. But that’s another topic!
